INTERNET SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

High Speed Internet set-up for Windows Vista

1. Right click on ‘Network’ either from the desktop icon or the start menu and select ‘Properties’.
2. Select ‘Manage network connections’ (it’s a left menu option)
3. Right click ‘Local Area Connection’ and select ‘Properties’
4. In the ‘This connection uses the following items’ section, uncheck ‘Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)’.
5. Select ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ and click ‘Properties’.
6. Click on ‘Use the following IP address:’.
7. Enter the IP address assigned to you by your provider.
8. Enter the Subnet mask assigned to you by your provider.
9. Enter the Default gateway assigned to you by your provider.
10. Click on ‘Use the following DNS server addresses:’
11. Enter the Preferred DNS server address: 208.38.65.37
12. Enter the Alternate DNS server address: 208.38.65.35
13. Click ‘OK’ and ‘Close’ and close open windows.
14. You may have to restart your PC for changes to take effect.
