Telemarketing Do-Not-Disturb

1. To activate this feature, from your home phone line, dial 763-633-9900.
2. This feature only works on callers who block their telephone number from you.
3. When a caller dials your telephone number from their blocked telephone number, they will get a message stating “This party does not accept unidentified calls.  At the tone please say your name or the company you represent, when finished please press #." 
4. Then your telephone will ring, and when you answer it says "privacy defender" and plays the callers message just recorded above.
5. Then you can press:  1 to answer, 2 to reject the call, or 3 to ignore the call.
6. If you press 1 it connects the call. You may answer the call as a normal telephone call.
7. If you press 2, hang up.  The calling party will get the message “Telemarketing calls are not accepted, please add this number to your do not call list.” 
8. If you press 3, hang up.  The calling party will get the message “the party you are calling is unavailable”.
