Three-Way
Calling
Thank you for
choosing the Three-Way Calling feature. Below are the features and
instructions to use Three Way Calling.
Three-Way Calling
allows up to three people in separate locations to conference in
a single telephone call. This feature is a great way to spread news
quickly without making separate calls.
To Add
a Third Caller:
- Establish a
call with one party.
- Press the
Flash Key, which places the first party on hold.
- Listen for
the dial tone.
- Dial the second
party’s telephone number.
- Listen for
ringback tone.
- Once the ringing
begins, do one of the following:
a. Press the Flash
Key again to return to the first party. When the third party
answers, you will be on your Three-Way Call.
b. Wait for the third
party to answer and talk privately as long as you wish; then
press the Flash Key once to add the first party back to the conversation
for a Three-Way Call.
To Disconnect:
After a Three-Way
Call is established, you may disconnect the last call made by pressing
the Flash Key once. A second press of the Flash Key places the first
caller on hold and initiates a new request for a Three-Way Call.
If you disconnect at any given time during the three-way conversation,
all parties will be disconnected.
