Six-Way Conferencing

Thank you for choosing the Six-Way Conferencing feature. Below are the features and instructions to use Six-Way Conferencing.

It is now easier to keep in touch with family and friends because Six-Way Conferencing allows you to sequentially call up to five other people and add them together to have a six-party telephone conversation. Once Six-Way Conferencing is assigned to your line, you can activate it with an access code.

To use:

If you are not already on a call and you want to activate Six-Way Conferencing you should:

1. Pick up the telephone and listen for the dial tone.
2. Dial the Six-Way Conferencing activation code *55.
3. Listen for dial tone and then dial the telephone number of the first party.
4. After that party answers, let them know you are setting up a conference call.
5. Press the Flash Key.
6. Repeat steps #3 through #5 until you have dialed all parties for the conference call (only up to five parties).
7. Press the Flash Key to connect yourself and all of the other parties you have dialed.

If you are on an existing call and want to activate Six-Way Conferencing, you should:

1. Place the existing call on hold by pressing the Flash Key.
2. Dial the appropriate activation code.
3. A second dial tone is returned.
4. Dial the new party’s telephone number.
5. You may converse privately with that party and/or press the Flash Key to move all of the parties to the conference circuit.

Feature Considerations:

• Once a conference is connected with all parties, you cannot separate one of the parties out and talk with them privately.
