Ringing
Thank you for
choosing the Priority Ringing feature. Below are the features and
instructions to use Priority Ringing.
The Priority Ringing
feature allows you to create a list of telephone numbers that will
ring differently from regular incoming calls, letting you choose
whether to answer a call based on the sound of the ringing. You can
use the feature for calls that you are waiting to hear back from,
or you may want to use it to identify undesirable callers.
To use:
- Lift the handset
and wait for dial tone.
- Press *61
and then listen to the voice instructions to guide you through
the following options:

After the desired
options have been completed, hang up to complete the procedure.
- Feature Considerations:
Callers will not know you have them on distinctive ringing.
- The maximum
screening list is 31 numbers and the minimum list is 2 numbers.
