Last Call
Return
Thank you for
choosing the Last Call Return feature. Below are the features and
instructions to use Last Call Return.
Last Call Return
eliminates the aggravation of rushing to a ringing telephone only
to discover that the calling party has hung up. By simply dialing
the Last Call Return activation code, you can determine the number
of the person who just called as well as place a return call to that
number.
To use:
- After a missed
call, simply lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
- Dial *69 and
wait for a recorded announcement.
- Wait for the
telephone number to be given to you.
- To return
the call, dial 1. To cancel, simply hang up.
- If the line
is busy and you still want to make the call, but do not want to
hold the receiver until the line is free, you can:
a. Listen for
an announcement explaining the line is busy.
b. Hang up.
c. You will hear a short-short-long ring when the line is free.
d. To call just lift the handset.
To deactivate
Last Call Return:
- Lift the handset
and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial *89.
- Listen for
the recorded Last Call Return deactivation request announcement
or tone.
- Hang up.
Feature
Considerations:
- There is no
time limit for returning a missed call. However, you may only return
the last incoming call received.
- When trying
to return a call, your calls will not be put through that are outside
the area served by Last Call Return, or if it is an 800 or 900
number.
- If your last
call was from a private number, the telephone number cannot be
given to you.
