Me Call Forwarding
Thank you for
choosing the Follow Me Call Forwarding feature. Below are the features
and instructions to use Follow Me Call Forwarding.
Follow Me Call
Forwarding allows you to activate or deactivate your assigned Call
Forwarding from a remote location. In order to have this feature,
you must also have Call Forwarding. With Follow Me Call Forwarding,
you can freely move between locations without missing important calls.
To use:
- Dial the dedicated
directory number, which is usually a designated seven or ten-digit
directory number supplied by NorthStar Access.
- Listen for
recall dial tone or for instructions to enter the directory number
of your base stations.
- Dial the base
station’s number. The base station is the number from which
you are forwarding all calls. For example, you are at work and
you want to forward all calls from home to work, the home number
is the base station.
- Listen for
recall dial tone or for instructions to enter your Personal Identification
Number (PIN).
- Enter the
one to twelve-digit PIN.
- If the home
directory number and PIN match yours, then confirmation tone followed
by dial tone is returned.
To activate:
- Dial *72 and
listen for dial tone.
- Enter the
number to which the calls are to be forwarded.
- Listen for
a confirmation tone.
To deactivate:
- Dial *73.
- Listen for
confirmation tone.
- Hang up.

- A touch-tone
telephone is required for this feature.
