Caller
Name and Number
Thank you for
choosing the Caller Name and Number feature. Below are the features
and instructions to use Caller Name and Number.
Caller Name and
Number allows you see who is calling before answering an incoming
call. Both the name and number will appear on a call display unit,
which is required when using the Caller Name and Number feature.
The Call display unit will store the names and numbers of people
who have called. This allows you to easily see who has called while
you were out and return their calls, if desired.
To use:
- In order to
see the incoming call information, wait for the start of the second
full ring.
- Look at the
display unit to see who is calling. The following should be displayed:
- Caller’s
Name
- Caller’s
Number
- Date of call
- Time of call
Feature
Considerations:
- If the call
is answered on the first ring, the name and number will not be
displayed.
- Calls from
out of the local calling area will show up as "out of area," "unavailable,"
or "unknown" on your display.
- Calls in which
people have blocked their name or number will show up as "private"
or "anonymous" on your display.
