Caller
ID
Thank you for
choosing the Caller ID feature. Below are the features and instructions
to use Caller ID.
Caller ID allows
you to see who is calling before answering an incoming call. The
number will appear on a call display unit, which is required when
using the Caller ID feature. The Caller ID display unit will store
the numbers of the people who called. This allows you to easily see
who has called while you were out and return their calls, if desired.
To use:
1. In order to
see the incoming call information, wait for the start of the second
full ring.
2. Look at the display unit to see who is calling. The following should
be displayed:
- Caller’s
Number
- Date of call
- Time of call
Feature
Considerations:
- If the call
is answered on the first ring, the name will not be displayed.
- Calls from
out of the local calling area will show up as "out of area," "unavailable,"
or "unknown" on your display.
- Calls in which
people have blocked their number will show up as "private"
or "anonymous" on your display.
