Call Forwarding Busy Line

Thank you for choosing Call Forwarding Busy Line. Below are the features and instructions to use Call Forwarding Busy Line.

Call Forwarding Busy Line allows you to redirect all calls to another telephone number or to voice mail when your line is busy. Call Forwarding Busy Line eliminates the worry of missing calls while your line is in use. Your friends and family will not receive frustrating busy signals when your line is tied up.

To use:

1. You do nothing! Once Call Forwarding Busy Line is assigned, it is always activated.

If you want the option of activating or deactivating Call Forwarding Busy Line, the Residential Subscriber Activation enhancement sub-feature is available.

If you have the Residential Subscriber Activation sub-feature, to activate Call Forwarding Busy Line you should do the following:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial the Call Forwarding Busy Line activation code *90.
3. After dialing the activation code, you will receive a dial tone.
4. Dial the number to which calls are to be forwarded.
5. The system will attempt to complete a "courtesy call" to the designated number.

To re-assign the forward-to number:

1. Deactivate the feature by pressing *91.
2. Assign new forward-to number by pressing *91, followed by the new forward-to number.

Feature Considerations:

• Calls forwarded to a long distance telephone number will be charged to you.
• An 800 number may be used as a forward-to number.
