Call Rejection
Thank you for
choosing the Anonymous Call Rejection feature. Below are the features
and instructions to use Anonymous Call Rejection.
Anonymous Call
Rejection can help you avoid receiving annoying, harassing, or solicitation
calls that use a blocking name and number feature. With this feature
you will not waste your time taking calls from people who refuse
to identify themselves. So if the calling party does not allow their
identity to be revealed, Anonymous Call Rejection will not allow
that call to ring to your line.
To use:
- Lift the receiver
and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial the Anonymous
Call Rejection activation code *77.
- You will then
hear either a confirmation tone, or an announcement explaining
that the feature is activated.
- Hang up.
To deactivate
Anonymous Call Rejection:
- Lift the receiver
and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial the Anonymous
Call Rejection deactivation code *87.
- You will then
hear either a confirmation tone, or an announcement explaining
that the feature is deactivated.
- Hang up.
Feature
Considerations:
- If a call is
sent to the Anonymous Call Rejection announcement, you will not
receive any alert telling you that a call was trying to establish
a connection.
