I also work for a business that relocated to the area and had a difficult time getting phone service from the local provider. Victor Fanth, the salesman I dealt with, was very knowledgeable in helping me choose the features that were right for our business. Our business already had a local number, NorthStar took that over for us and also installed two new lines for fax, modem, etc. Everything was accomplished in a timely manner. It's very nice to have a phone company you can actually go and talk with someone face to face. They have been very helpful and I wish them the best in their business in North Branch. I have been very impressed with all aspects of our service so far. From the beginning of our service on 10-25-00, we have gotten great follow through on our needs. Vie has followed through on all our needs, as well as walking us through the paperwork that NorthStar requires. Vie has checked with us after every step of our implementation to make sure all was completed to our satisfaction. We no longer have the major problem with Qwest that we constantly had last year, trying to get a line out of the community. The technicians, Steve and Paul, have given us immediate service when required and answered our questions about our interface with their system. They have far surpassed any service that we received from Qwest. We are no longer looked as an entity that can be gotten around to when Qwest wanted to, but a valued business that needs fast attention to be able to meet the needs of our customers. We have installed DSL service as well and everything went as planned and with the same great follow-up. We are very pleased that NorthStar Access came to our community and are going to install their service in our home as well.
